About this job
The role purpose is to be responsible for and lead this organisation's system security efforts. The organisation has heavily invested in technology in the past few years. The more technology they use, the broader the exposure to malicious attacks and actors intent on hacking their systems and stealing data. Data and System security now figure in the organisation's risk registers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to protect the organisation's IT infrastructure, data, and systems from threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, advanced threat detection, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 6 months.
