The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within primary schools in Slough. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist with classroom management, and provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers.
• Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their development.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
• Commitment to promoting the welfare and development of students.
• Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
