We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Sport to join our highly successful Catholic sixth form college. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16-19 on both A Level and Vocational courses. Located in the green, leafy area of Kent borders, our students are inspired and motivated to succeed in an environment that promotes excellence, encouragement, and mutual respect.
Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment practices across A Level and Vocational Sport courses.
- Stretch and challenge students to reach their full potential, ensuring they are prepared for success in their future careers.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and success.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Sport to 16-19-year-olds at A Level and/or Vocational courses.
- Strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.Benefits:
