Role: Accounts Clerk

Location: Wandsworth (Hybrid working)

Term: Either 12 month fixed-term contract or paid on a hourly rate

We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to work within a fast moving, dynamic growing business. The successful applicant will support the accounts function to provide a high level of service within the business and achieve an efficient and accurate service function within the finance department.

Typical Duties:

• Responsible for document processing to ensure internal and external completeness, internal & external accuracy, and conformance with accounting guidelines and legislation on all routine tasks/financial system.
• Provide a high level of service support internally and externally.
• Support with all internal and external audits.
• Support the Accounts Payable Manager with additional ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

• Knowledge/ability to operate business' financial systems.
• Strong IT skills - especially intermediate excel knowledge.
• Can operate within the relevant financial guidelines and legislation and understand risk to the business of non-compliance.
• A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do' self-motivated attitude
• Trustworthy, Confident and friendly
• Ability to prioritise workload; be comfortable dealing with staff at all levels
• Excellent communication skills to develop good working relationships with both buyers and suppliers
• An eye for detail and dedication to accuracy, coupled with the keenness to meet deadlines
