Payments Assistant

Robert Half have exclusively partnered with a well-established investment management firm to hire a Payments Assistant to join their high-performing finance team.

They are looking to hire someone that has recently finished sixth form / college.

This role will be hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.

Role

The Payments Assistant is an excellent first step into the world of finance as you will get good exposure to a variety of responsibilities while supporting the finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the payment function for all entities
• Preparation of supporting documentation
• Ensuring correct form of invoicing
• Any other ad-hoc tasks

There is a strong support network and training with this role. You will progress through the finance function and have full support to get your AAT and/or ACCA accounting qualification, similar to an apprenticeship scheme.

Profile

The ideal profile for this AP Assistant role, should have the following attributes:

• Recent Sixth Form / College leaver with strong academic background.
• Confident demeanour.
• Want to study the AAT/ACCA accounting qualification.

Salary & Benefits Package

£19,000 - 23,000 + additional benefits

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
