A forward-thinking and inclusive school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a Creative SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an imaginative graduate to use their creativity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - through art, drama, music, storytelling, and other expressive approaches.

Whether your background is in the arts, humanities, psychology, or education, this role allows you to bring fresh ideas and meaningful support to students who thrive through personalised, engaging learning.

• Creative SEN Teaching Assistant - full-time, term-time only

• Start date: September 2025

• Location: Tower Hamlets (excellent transport links)

• Daily rate: £105-£115 (based on experience)

• Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs

• Use creative tools and strategies to aid communication, focus, and emotional regulation

• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and therapists in a collaborative setting

• A recent graduate (any discipline) with a creative mindset and a heart for inclusion

• Open-minded, empathetic, and full of positive energy

• Interested in education, child development, psychology, or creative therapies

• A confident communicator who builds strong relationships with pupils and staff

• Adaptable, proactive, and ready to think outside the box

• Eager to learn and committed to making a tangible impact

• Located in the heart of Tower Hamlets, with diverse pupils and a welcoming culture

• Strong SEN team with open-minded leadership

• Creative, child-centred approach to SEN - expressive arts encouraged
