Reactive Plumber - Croydon & London
Location: Croydon & Greater London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with occasional weekend work available, but not mandatory)

Are you an experienced and fully qualified plumber with excellent timekeeping and report writing skills? We are looking for a Reactive Maintenance Plumber to join our growing team in Croydon and Greater London. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a keen eye for detail in both practical work and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency plumbing repairs in residential properties across the area.
- Independantly diagnose and repair a variety of domestic plumbing faults, including leaks, taps, showers, toilets, internal drainage systems and carry out effective leak investigations.
- Confidently install or renew shower booster pumps.
- Liaise with office staff to ensure timely scheduling and execution of work.
- Manage your own workload effectively, ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports for each job, maintaining high standards of documentation and communication.
- Ensure excellent timekeeping, arriving at jobs on time and adhering to schedules to maintain service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified plumber
- Minimum of 2 year s experience in a reactive maintenance plumbing role.
- Full clean UK driving license (essential for travel to job sites).
- Own tools and equipment required to carry out tasks efficiently.
- Strong timekeeping skills with the ability to manage your schedule effectively.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills to produce clear, professional documentation on work PDA.
- Experience in independently diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plumbing systems.
- Manage van stock levels effectively, ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are well-organized and replenished as required.
- Confident with the installation and renewal of booster pumps.
- Ability to liaise effectively with office staff and clients, coordinating scheduling and ensuring smooth communication.
- Proactive, reliable, and professional approach to work.
- Occasional weekend work is available but not mandatory.
