Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing and developing young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and learn through play. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with children, parents, and colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare and educational experiences.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that promotes children's health and safety.
Collaborate with colleagues to drive the nursery's vision and values forward, contributing to a positive team culture.
Keep accurate records of children's development and learning journeys in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff.
A genuine passion for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting.
A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare at all times.
