Support Workers

Support Workers required for a supported living service for young adults with learning disabilities. We are recruiting for experienced Support Workers for their supported living services in Canvey Island, Hadleigh (Benfleet) and Shoeburyness areas. These are permanent full time roles working 40 hours per week. £25,417 p/a plus sleep ins at £40.00 per night - earnings up to £29,725 per annum. Salary being reviewed in April 2025. Will include day, weekend and sleep in working. Sleep in shifts are paid in addition to basic salary.

Shift patterns are;
Monday Sunday
Early Shift: 07:00 to 15:00
Late Shift: 15:00 to 23:00
Sleep In: 23 00

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for;

• Providing care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the service management
• Support and enable adults to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care
• Support adults in maintaining their tenancy
• Maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as required to maintain and progress knowledge
