About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Epilepsy Specialist Nurse to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. Working closely with colleagues across care and education, you will provide expert knowledge and effective advice and training to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the people we support.
You will work closely with other clinical professionals across our Health Agency, which consists of learning disability nurses, paediatric nurses and therapists, and will have responsibility for planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised epilepsy care, ensuring the highest possible standards of practice are received by our children and young people whilst living and learning at St Elizabeth's.
We are committed to providing a work environment where you can thrive and therefore offer various shift patterns which include, 9am - 5pm, 7am - 2:30pm or 1:45pm - 9pm with flexibility on occasion to meet the needs of the service.
About you
As an expert in your speciality, you will be a fully competent Nurse registered with the NMC, with evidence of ongoing professional development in Epilepsy. You will have strong commitment to providing individualised person-centred care, ensuring the children, young people and parents we support are comfortable and fully informed throughout any clinical decision. The successful candidate will be a kind and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop our multi-professional team.
