An overview of responsibilities & Duties

• You will lead and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across KS3 to KS5, inspiring students to develop a love for literature and language while achieving strong academic outcomes.
• Champion a calm, focused, and disruption-free learning environment that supports high expectations and student success.
• Plan, model, and support the implementation of innovative, differentiated English lessons aligned with the national curriculum, embedding best practices in literacy and pedagogy.
• Take a proactive role in departmental leadership, contributing to curriculum design, mentoring colleagues, and actively participating in whole school and pastoral initiatives.
