Head of Transactions & Quants Modelling Oversight

We're looking for an experienced leader to head a leading UK Insurance firm's Transaction and Quant Modelling Oversight team. You'll oversee major financial deals, pricing, and modelling risks, making sure they're well managed and in line with the company's risk framework.

What you'll do:

• Oversee key transactions, new product pricing, and model risk

• Give independent advice and challenge to manage risk effectively

• Lead and develop a high-performing team

• Explain complex financial ideas clearly

• Support the business in making balanced, risk-aware decisions

What you'll need:

• Strong knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and reinsurance

• Understanding of financial regulations (Solvency UK, IFRS 17, UK GAAP)

• Experience with capital and liquidity modelling

• Leadership experience in a complex organisation

• Excellent communication skills
