Location: London or Newcastle Offices (Hybrid)Salary: £60,000 - £75,00020% Employer Pension Contribution

I'm working with a well-established public sector organisation to hire a Data Engineer to support the build and evolution of their cloud-based data platform.

This role will play a key part in designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring high-quality, accessible data across the organisation. You'll collaborate closely with analytics engineers, data scientists, and wider technology teams to enable data-driven decision making.

What you'll be doing: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes Integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple sources Ensuring data quality, security, and reliability across systems Collaborating with stakeholders to support data modelling and analytics Monitoring and optimising data platform performance Supporting the development of cloud-based data infrastructure

What we're looking for form the Data Engineer: Experience as a Data Engineer in a cloud environment (Azure preferred) Strong SQL and Python skills Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale Familiarity with tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar Understanding of data modelling and data architecture principles Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
