THE ROLE

This is a part-time role working 3 consecutive days per week on an initial 6 month contract which may get extended or lead to a full-time position.

Blocks Online is looking for a results-oriented Marketing Manager who can develop marketing strategies as well take a hands-on approach to executing marketing plans.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with him to create B2B marketing strategies and plans to generate new sales leads and cross sell Bocks Online s products and services to the existing client base. You ll then be responsible for delivering on those plans, working with both external suppliers and the internal sales and product management teams.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and knowledgeable marketer, a strong team player, and an excellent communicator with a creative flair.

The role is primarily home based but may require occasional working from our serviced offices in and around London or at events.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Marketing and Comms Strategy and Planning: creating a marketing strategy and plan that helps to deliver BOL s Product strategy and increase sales within agreed budgets. Create targeted messaging and value propositions that resonate with our clients and prospects. To include comms plans to retain and grow existing clients as well as marketing plans for product launches and sales lead generation.
  • Operational Marketing and Comms: execute the plans in collaboration with the CEO, sales team and other operational teams. Produce marketing materials and manage digital marketing, overseeing content marketing, social media, and SEO strategies.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor campaign performance, optimise conversion rates, and report on key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Brand Development & Positioning: Develop the company s brand guidelines ensuring it resonates with our target audience and aligns with our core values and vision. Act as the brand guardian ensuring consistent brand messaging.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Proven experience as Marketer in a B2B environment, ideally in a SaaS business or in the PropTech or FinTech industries.
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, customer engagement, product launches and lead generation.
  • Demonstrable skill in content creation/copy writing.
  • Familiarity with upselling and cross-selling strategies in a SaaS environment would be advantageous.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and performance tracking. Track record of insight-led propositions. Translate business objectives into measurable goals and KPIs.
  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and automation software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, dealing with multiple stakeholders.
