Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist education team in Radlett.
The Role:- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Help students manage emotions, build confidence, and engage in learning.
- Support teachers in delivering tailored lessons and behaviour support strategies.
- Create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and support teams.
Requirements:- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs (school, PRU, or care setting).
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or Health & Social Care (Level 2/3) preferred.
- Team Teach or similar behaviour management training is desirable.
