English Teacher - EnfieldAn exciting long-term opportunity has arisen at a Secondary SEMH School in Enfield. We are seeking a resilient, passionate, and adaptable teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 English, while supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons for KS3 & KS4 studentsAdapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEMH needs and associated behavioural challengesCreate a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environmentSupport students in developing both academic achievement and personal growthWork closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including support staff and senior leadersContribute to wider curriculum delivery and school life where requiredCandidate Profile
QTS or equivalent teaching qualificationExperience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with studentsFlexible, proactive, and confident in adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needsPrevious experience working within SEMH, alternative provision, PRU, or SEN settings is desirable but not essentialA genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve their potentialWhat We Offer
