Service Engineer

Our client is a specialist distribution company supple food processing machinery throughout the UK and they have an opening for a Service Engineer to work at their busy site in near Aylesbury.

The role is to ensure high standards in the appearance and functioning of their machinery while updating and organising the in house systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and organising of stock machinery
• Housekeeping of demo and repair areas
• Assist in machinery repairs with the service team
• Returning machinery and areas to suitable condition after demonstration
• Testing and preparing stock/rental machinery prior to site delivery
• Refurbishment of customer components
• Sharpen or blades for customers
• Assisting with spare partts and urgent deliveries

Knowledge & Experience:

• Certified electrical qualifications ( City and Guilds )
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential

Skills & Behaviours:

• Strong attention to detail in technical tasks
• Ability to multitask
• Proactive and self motivated
• Willingless to be flexible and enjoy a varied workload
