A specialist secondary school in Bexley is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD and SEMH needs, particularly in delivering Entry Level Functional Skills in English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of Entry Level Functional Skills in English and Maths
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement EHCP targets
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and SEMH
• Assist with classroom routines, behaviour management, and engagement
• Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with students with ASD and SEMH in a school setting
• Knowledge of Entry Level Functional Skills curriculum
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
