Kent County Council (KCC) is the county council that governs the majority of the county of Kent in England. Its geographic area additionally comprises 12 district councils, and around 300 town and parish councils. The county council has 81 elected councillors. The Leader, cabinet and the Corporate Directors are responsible for the day-to-day running of the council.

It is one of the largest local authorities in England in terms of population served and the largest local authority of its type. The council is based at County Hall in Maidstone. It has been under Conservative majority control since 1997.
